Fortuna Enterprises, LLC - COVID-19 Update

As we continue to monitor the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the United States and throughout the world, we commit to the continued support of our customers so long as the health of all customers and employees is not compromised.

Following recommendations made by the CDC, WHO, and SBA, Fortuna Enterprises, LLC will be implementing the following expanded health and safety measures:

Employees displaying any symptoms identified as relevant to COVID-19 will be asked to stay home.
Hand-washing and respiratory etiquette will be reviewed, and the frequency of personal sanitation measures will be increased.
Surfaces, handles, and all frequently-touched objects will be sanitized regularly in offices, warehouses, delivery vehicles, and production facilities.
Event attendance, travel, and in-person meetings will be minimized. If you are preparing for a visit with a Fortuna team member, please determine whether the meeting can take place virtually or via phone.
Fortuna team members will request sanitation and prevention documentation from manufacturers, distributors, and producers. Inadequate procedures will be addressed, and non-compliance will result in a stocking hold.
Delivery drivers will be instructed to interact as minimally as possible with customers. Please respect our drivers' choice to not shake hands or touch surfaces unnecessary to their operation.

FAQ:

Q: Can I still pick up orders at the Fortuna office?
A: Yes, however we ask that customers refrain from entering the lobby. Please drive directly to the warehouse door and remain in your vehicle. A Fortuna team member will collect your information and load your order.

Q: Are any products in short supply?
A: As of today, our stock levels have not been affected. We will monitor our supply closely to ensure our continued ability to provide vital products.

Q: Are Fortuna products at risk of carrying/spreading COVID-19?
A: With our expanded hygiene and cleanliness policies in place and the below information from the CDC, we are confident that the spread of COVID-19 will not be furthered by our product supply. For further clarification:

"Because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures."

“Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19. Like other viruses, it is possible that the virus that causes COVID-19 can survive on surfaces or objects. For that reason, it is critical to follow the 4 key steps of food safety—clean, separate, cook, and chill.”

"In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods."

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we deal with the effects of this outbreak. Any further news will be published via this newsletter and social media platforms. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions.

Sincerely,

Fortuna Enterprises, LLC
